I have been flat out with White Horse and confident the first skeleton draft will be finished by the end of this month (Feb). I am currently at around 40k words, so still plenty to do. Our target is around 65-70k.
However, with collaborative partner Jay N doing the beats for each scene and myself going in and writing them – the process seems to be going fairly smoothly so far (fingers crossed).
Our plan revolves around getting as much of the series written before releasing the first book so we can gain momentum and not have readers waiting around for follow up books. We should have a clearer idea of pre-order dates and publishing schedule in a few months time.
There is also a new Frank Bowen story in the works, which will be a short – although I’m not ruling out that it may become a novella. Set in Prague, this is an early Frank Bowen operation as he carries out his specialist field of surveillance on a Serb government official. While off-duty, events soon take an unexpected turn when he spots an apparent stake out and his curiosity is piqued and then punished.
Last but not least there is a Thriller boxset now available across all platforms. 99 Degrees collects my current collection of books into one bundle and works out 40% cheaper (at the time of writing).
